Well they done several post mortum interviews after the finale revealing things and that wasn’t good enough for some I recall several posters going as far as calling them liars.
It's a free country. In point of fact, G&K were not always truthful with their audience. I recall one of them calling the other a liar in front of an audience.
Then on the other hand, maybe they were saying in their own way that interviews should not be taken as canon?
I seen that video they were joking around with each other , they didn’t even hint that what they said about explaining actions were lies shouldn’t be taken as canon . Like or not the showrunner explaining how saw things are taken as canon.
Oh, well I wonder why some here are so adamant about taking interviews as canon then.
I take all show runners interviews explaining they’re shows as canon not just Grimm, it all goes back to lost because I recall the nonsense some fans were coming out with after that show ended, claiming they were dead all long even when the showrunners came out and said that wasn’t the case and there was nothing onscreen to suggest that was the case it didn’t stop some fans jumping to that conclusion. Often showrunners have to explain things to fans .
