She knows Kelly and it seems like she trusts her with Diana. I think it'd be easier to convince her to accept that Diana is safer with Kelly, for the time being, than to try and corral her (and all her Hexy powers) when she's clearly hell-bent on going after Viktor, and apparently is going to take out Nick and Sean along the way...
What she doesn't know she can't be made to reveal, and we have seen that the Royals are not above using torture.
And the "tell the truth to Adalind because we feel sorry for her" ship has definitely sailed.
And besides that, it was obvious that our Little Baby Beelzebub wanted to be with Kelly. This whole thing of Adalind going from the uncaring batch who was willing to sell her child to the highest bidder to Mother of The Year just never did it for me. I could never buy into that. I don't think Little Baby Beelzebub bought it either!
Maybe the mother of the year trait is part of the Hexenbiest biological makeup. I get the feeling Hexenbiest are manipulative, self-serving parasites (which may be why Adalind was a great lawyer ). But something kicks in during the last weeks of the pregnancy and into the first few months afterwards that brings forth a mothering instinct. Otherwise, why would Sean's mother, a Hexenbiest herself, not simply abandon her son when the Royals were after them?
