Quote:So then it can be argued that what Adalind did to Nick isn't rape, and therefore what JuliEve did to Rachel wasn't rape either.considering in both cases there was no force or intimidation. Both parties where excited about what they where doing. I would have to say it was not rape. Given that Nick is now living and taking care of Adalind. Acknowledges that Nick does not see it as rape.
In both cases they did not act like the person they where pretending to be. To me that means the trick worked only because the other person wanted it to work. In both cases the other person knows magic exist. Because their partner may have looked like the other person but did not act like the other person should have caused pause. Would be different if it was the real world where you can not ware another person skin.
In the real world even with twins. Their family and those close to them can tell the difference. The other thing even though the person the where pretending to be was play by that person. It was played as though they where the other person. Bitsie played it as though she was Adalind. Sash played it as if he was Juliet. From that point of view it made no sense that Nick or Rachael would not notice the difference.
To me I think it was the writers going out of their way to make the point that it was a trick and not rape.
