There did seem to be some chemistry between her and Meisner, and not just the typical "I'm going to have sex with you so I can kill you/use you" chemistry that Adalind usually exudes.
Oh, I really like that idea: Adalind in the Resistance. It would be an unexpected turn but it would also still leave her the option of occasionally antagonizing Nick. I'm glad I didn't turn out to be imagining that weird vibe Adalind and Meisner seemed to have going on before. It is interesting to see a femme fatale type character grow actual attachments -- her baby Diana was initially a means to an end (Adalind gaining her powers back) but that changed rapidly. I think for all her charm, she's a very lonely person and Diana was the one emotional connection she could ever count on completely.
Right now, the Resistance is taking everyone on their side they can get, but if they ever score a major victory against the Royals, that loose alliance will dissolve real quick. So Adalind would not only be in her element if a power vacuum developed, but would probably decide to take out Nick permanently, if only for the sake of self-preservation. And I can't help wonder about who has the seventh key (Royals have four, Nick has two).
Ah, I like the way you think. The Resistance might definitely turn their eye toward other goals if they managed to knock the Royals from power. And if Adalind were one of their number, she might suggest that the next biggest threat to Wesen are Grimm, just so she could tie up loose ends. Self-preservation, like you said.
And wow, it would be very cool if the holders of the seventh key are the Resistance. If they took out the Royals and gained four keys in the process, they could have two other reasons to want Nick gone.
Didn't even think about someone in the Resistance having the seventh key. That would be interesting. And the charisma coins are still floating around out there, wherever Kelly stashed them. And you're right, the Resistance have always thought of the Grimms as the willing lackeys of the Royals. So the Resistance might decide a purge of known Grimms would be in order if the Royals are knocked out, especially at Adalind's prompting. And I've been thinking of the Reapers. I'm wondering if (or when) they learn about Nick being deGrimmified, they're going to remember the big "F*** You" he sent them with two heads, and decide it's time for payback.
