Rosalee could have called and ask for favors from Adalind because she still would have been her babysitter.
IMO Adalind and Nick are not romantically involved they would not live together in season 6 which means they would see each other very little. You have bought up that you would like Adalind to live on her own and not be involved with Nick so I am not sure what your issue is. Nick really only has time for cops and his scooby team and Adalind was not a member until season 6 which IMO would not have happened if Adalind did not want to live with Nick any more. In season 5, one of Adalind issues with Nick he was willing to have sex but not relationship with her. How would that had helped develop a long term special friendship between Nick and Adalind?
In fact, I believe that you brought up in another thread that in your opinion Adalind should have given Sean another chance in season 6. In the show season 6, Sean and Adalind are co-parenting only without any special bond so if it was switched why would Adalind have a special bond with Nick? Over the years, Nick could formed a special relationship with Adalind and not live together but season 6 is like months only.
