The writers could have found a differently way to make everything more possible. Some things are simply absurd. And not beliefable. After my opinion it was just a easy way to bring Nick and Adalind closer. And the easiest way to get Juliette out of the way.
People being tricked into having sex happens in real life (season 3). Juliette (season 4) turning into Hexenbiest makes no sense to me. IMO Nick and Adalind become close after Eve/Juliette (season 5) had talked to Nick but not answered some of his questions the first time after coming back from the "dead" and she showed no interest in him.
Juliette/Eve has too much self respect to want to be with Nick as a life partner especially with children once he is a grimm. Juliette/Eve has the powers of a strong hexenbiest but is not loyal/obedient to one person like Adalind.
Adalind follows Nick the grimm instructions and is willing to live a restricted life and Nick wants that kind of control to protect his life partner and child/children (including Diana).
Women characters do not have to be having sex with the lead to be important to the story.
