Tom was an activist and he and his wife worked hard to make those movies be political for times for sure. You had to love Bong Soo Han and his Tang So Do techniques. I wish Tom had been a martial artist, but I liked his ability to fight, restraint to try not to, but willingness to do what needed to be done.(04-19-2017, 08:35 PM)MANTItotheCore Wrote: Can't tell you how many times I listened to that song and pictured the last scene of Billy Jack with tears in my eyes!
The song was/is exceptional. But the nature of the enemy was different back then too.
I liked Billy Jack, but the first run of the character in The Born Losers I think was a superior film and portrayal.
I think the character was much better sans the lame Indian woo B.S.
I am fairly sure Bong Soo Han was an Hapkido proponent not tang So Do. Norris was Tang So Do.
Oxford commas are so totally rad!.
