I mean it's more than just about the ratings. G&K aren't the first to write questions for fans or take time to ask for fan opinions. Ratings just show how many are watching, if G&K wanted to know why they watched or what they liked or didn't like, I see nothing wrong with it.
There is nothing wrong with it. I just don't believe G&K would ask the kind of questions Mary quoted. The questions posed really sound more like something the anonymous audience would pose more than anything the writers themselves would be interested in.
The questions I was referring to, was from Ask the Fans series, it was mentioned multiple times the questions came from the writers themselves. I don't know about any other.
