I believe Nick showed extreme grief and anguish when he opendd the box with his Mother's head inside. Then when Meisner showed Nick his Mother's grave he knelt beside it in silence:
Quote:Meisner: Let me show you something. [He and Nick go outside]IMO Nick did show grief. Are you saying it was not "real grief?
Nick: What is this?
Meisner: It's our graveyard. Chavez is here. The ones you were supposed to meet are here too.
Nick: So you cleaned it up.
Meisner: We had to.
Nick: Why bring me here?
Meisner: Three days after we took Juliette, we found where Kenneth had dumped your mother's body. We recovered it and what we took from your house and... and buried her here. Just in case you don't believe me. [He hands Nick a photo] We want your help. We need it for what's coming. [He walks away]
[Nick kneels down at his mother's grave]
Trubel: Is he okay?
Meisner: He will be. [He goes back inside]
Why would Nick grieve for the homicidal maniac that betrayed his mother to her death? FrankenEve made it clear to nick she remembers but has no remorse for what she did. She is a cold blooded killing machine devoid of any humanity, morals, ethics or emotions.
