Well given I am the progenitor of the "Juliette was slumming when she met Nick" theory, given her overall demeanor, and given the trajectory of the series, I think her attitude probably is one collective sigh of relief that she was given such an easy out from life with such a loser.
Really I fail to see the great loss for either party in all of this. Relationships end all the time, time to move on for both of them.
