Get the characters straight. I don't recall him showing any discomfort or regret when he slapped her. Did you?
(BTW, I’m not saying that part of the storyline was unproblematic).
Quote:I don't believe Meisner simply decided to haunt Renard at his own discretion. If he and Bonaparte were somewhere, (presumably hell), then it stands to reason that a higher power brought him back to haunt Renard into joining the right side.Meisner’s ghost was used to guide/push Renard’s return from the dark side. Meisner was a relatively unimportant character, who barely had a background story. He was only used for stuff like transport Adalind from A to Z, or as a front figure for HW. The actual BC/HW- war did not get much time on screen, because it was Nick and the gang who were the heroes of the show. Renard was the main villain of season 5 and first part of season 6. Renard needed all the redemption he could get. Meisner needed nothing, because he was removed from the storyline.
Quote:You want to believe Meisner to be a just and upright man. That's your prerogative. I do not see him that way, simply because he delivered Adalind's baby and then she kissed his cheek in return. I'm not a big Adalind fan, but I am so glad the creative team did not decide to pair her up with that monster.Wow. You apparently know a lot about Meisner. But more important, you are implying that Nick was a better man than Meisner. You must really be desperate to defend Renard, if you are willing to imply something positive about Nick. Let's all take a moment to grasp this one in a lifetime experience!
