It doesn't matter if Juliette should be demanding the kiss or not. The point was, she did. Nick turned away from her for basically no reason.
Also, in High Spirits, Darryl Hannah's character did demand the kiss. Steven Guttenberg was obviously repulsed by her, but he did it anyway. That's what made the scene so great.
The best way to frustrate a cyberbully is to ignore him.
