The producers themselves disregarded it. For whatever reason it's now known as a deleted scene. How can you say it actually occurred if it was never aired and they themselves disregarded it?
I want to make this clear that this is a hypothetical so we don't get into the importance of some deleted scenes again.
If asked whether Nick changed diapers or not, what do you think the producers' answer would be?
