Just had another thought, while reading the "How does Nick and the gang get to Europe" thread, I got to thinking about the seventh and final key. Where is the final key and will Nick and his gang even be the ones that find it first?
There are any number of guesses for this topic, they've already had two Grimms give Nick a key, Aunt Marie and Josh's dad, can't recall his name. Of course, they could have another Grimm find Nick and give him the final key but I think it will be done differently. I also doubt that it would be some random Wessen, like the ones Nick encounters while working cases, that would just happen to have the key.
I could put this part in the Nick's gang to Europe thread and I likely will but it seems relevant now, as well. I do believe some of them will go to Europe, I initially said Nick might not want Monroe and a few others going in fear of their safety but they're already in danger, plus, as another poster pointed out, I think it was jsgrimm, that Monroe likely has the best knowledge of the Black Forest area, though Renard could know some of it, he hasn't been to Europe much since he was a kid, pretty sure he stated that in an episode. I do believe Sean will have to be the one to try and get the other four keys from the Royals, which may be hidden all in one place/castle, or could be divided between four of the seven Royal families.
In any case, my only possibilities for finding the keys, as of right now, are Bill Chambers (the new guy, I think that's his name), Chavez's group, the resistance, the Council (or at least a member, including Alexander and De Groot). The only other slightly possible idea I can think of is that a known location for the key becomes available and that info gets leaked to both sides and it becomes a race for the key.
My other thought is that the Royals could acquire that key for themselves, nothing preventing that from happening. Thoughts?
