Sean is in this because his kid is in danger and Adalind is in this because both her kids are in danger. Since a wizard of Oz like setting was hinted for the finale I'm thinking Nick is probably in another realm while the rest are working on trying to bust him out and save themselves as well(03-07-2017, 02:09 AM)Kathryn Wooten Wrote:I think this is in relation to what's about to happen more than it is about the future. If Nick's going to be okay with Renard looking after Kelly should anything happen to him, Sean will have to earn back much of the trust he trashed when he went after Nick and we haven't even seen them make headway in that direction.(03-07-2017, 02:03 AM)MarylikesGrimm Wrote:(03-07-2017, 01:57 AM)Kathryn Wooten Wrote: I nderstand why they paired everyone up
Seems Nick, Wu and Hank wil take the right head on
Renard and Adalind takes the fight to protect the kids
and then you have Rosalee, Monrow and Eve at another front.even though I would think she would had been with Nick......But he will have Trubel slowing the creature down until the potion is ready
Nick trust Renard to protect Kelly...did not see that coming
IMO Nick is with Trubel and the other Grimms.
I think your right..I also believe Adalind, Renard , Kelly and Diana are in the tunnels and I bet in close places ..Renard will open up to Adalind as e never does before, which will not go unnotice by Diana, because if something does happen to Nick..at least we know Renard and Adalind will take care of the kids....I say this because Nick trusted Renard with Kelly's life...meaning if something happens to him....he trust he will continue to protect his family
Making provision for an immediate threat is not the same thing as planning for an indefinite future. Renard and Adalind working together now, will be with the expectation that Nick will come back. It's easier to have low expectations from Renard that just cover protecting his son from danger. Being Kelly's secondary caretaker is a different ballgame altogether and I can't see Nick placing that much trust in Renard without Sean doing something to show Nick that he can fully trust Renard with his family (Kelly and Adalind). This covers Nick's side of things.
As for Adalind, she will want to protect both children and we will see that in the last two episodes and will work with Sean while Nick is busy. If anything happens to Nick, I can see Adalind accepting Sean's assistance as Diana's father but I do not see Adalind returning to Sean in any romantic capacity now that she's completely weaned herself off of him. They will co-parent much as we are seeing them now but Adalind is over Sean as a romantic interest, at least in the foreseeable future.
Yes Grimmbiest, this is what I think too. I believe he finds his way into the other world to defeat the big bad.
There was another opinion from another thread by Mary which I decided to add in here since the conversation has kind off opened up here.

All I have read is it will be a "tearjerker or ready your tissues" kind of quotes and not someone from the scooby G. will die.
I am not saying it may not happen, a possibility but also a non possibility too. I also do not think Renard will not be ending up Adalind. That ship has sailed long ago. I am feeling confidient that Nick will survive.
You do not think they will transform Nick into something.
I believe this direction is out of character for the show Grimm wise. A direction I can think of (a slim chance but possible) is that Nick will not die but he will need to be a kind of leader after taking down his foe in the other world to bring balance between both worlds and not an end chaos.
Knowing he is alive and still watching over his Kelly, Diana and Adalind, always loving them and they loving him. This could be Nick's destiny "A GRIMM GATE KEEPER" between both worlds protecting so no such chaos will happen again. But for him (Nick) to die, I do not think so.
Now this could be the tearjerking and tissue quotes the cast and show runners have been talking about. Nick exresses his love for them by protecting the world itself.
