David Greenwault's clue about the stick has me thinking, which is never a good thing .
Because he specifically says the stick unlocks thing that never should have been unlocked, I'm beginning to think it has a cure all quality to it meaning, even certain repressed attributes of a person.
Remember when Nick lost his Grimm powers, the doctor said that some sort of swelling was blocking his cones. This was the first physical association with Grimm powers.
It got me wondering whether there are other more sinister aspects of Grimms that have been lost through the generations that the stick unlocks.
Suppose the pitch black eyes are all that is left of a actual unique woge.
This in turn led to the thought; from a evolutionary point of view, what are Grimms and why do they target wesen, why do they have that evolutionary advantage? Monroe pointed out in the Star Crossed episode, that human sacrifice died out because of Grimms. They are powerful feared things. They can't really only be slightly advanced humans. There is something very different about them.
Wesen that were around before Grimms were actually called Grimms, before the Brother's Grimm decided to document the wesen they found, were still hunted and killed by Grimms almost like natural predators.
What made Grimms and Wesen enemies in the first place?
Did they evolve from normal humans to protect their race or are they closer in kind to wesen but have the advantages to put them at the top of the food chain so to speak.
I think the key would be in their history, their ancient history.
I'm very interested in what you all think.
