I think most folks here know my opinion on this but there seems to be some disagreement and I would like to do an informal poll.

I've been defending Juliette since the first Juliette haters showed up. This forum has not been as bad as other places (like IMDB), a fact that I attribute to the intelligence and good taste of the posters here.
I feel like if she stays dead, the writers bowed to a vocal minority. However with all the stuff that led up to her death, I wouldn't mind if she stayed dead. but .... If the writers can come up with some device to bring her back and get her back together with Nick, and make it half-way believable - I'm all for it. The only thing that I'd be totally against is if she ends up as a antagonist.
I've always had mixed feelings on Juliette's character but i blame writers, i liked her from the start halfway through season 2 maybe a bit more, then 3 (with the exception of episode 1 where she comes up with the gas for the zombies) and 4 i kinda didn't like her, nothing to do with her becoming evil or anything just the way they wrote her in those seasons i didn't like
I wouldn't at all mind them bringing her back but i need a good story to go with it (Not shes magic, Ta Da) , if she ends up with nick again or not wouldn't matter to me to much although if she were to live if she and nick try to work things out or not would probably have some impact on nicks character

This is off topic a bit, but it might have been a good thing for Grimm to have been left in the dark a lot longer before finding out it had been renewed for another season. It seems to me when there's that uncertainty, we get far more interesting and better stories. Last week's episode felt rushed and sloppy to me with more questions than answers. And my questions aren't good ones, they're just stupid things like, "why did Trubel go to Nick's house *and* bring a crossbow with her?" or "how did Juliette escape from the king *and* get back to Nick's house so fast?" Then there's the writers acting all cocky about Juliette being "dead". I just want to hit them with a wet noodle and tell them to grow up. Grimm's audience is not full of grade school kids. Anyway, vent over. I don't have a lot of hope for next season after what I've seen last week. If Juliette is dead and the intent is to bring her back to life, I'd like to see some real decisions made as to why. It can't just be, 'oh wait, Rosalie found a spell that can turn back time, so let's bring Juliette back', or the old 'it was all just a dream sequence'. If she's still alive and the intent is to keep her that way, I don't mind that she's a hexenbiest. I like that whole character change. I would like to see her put to go use though, rather than just beating the crap out of Nick every time they meet. Dumb. Just dumb.

The creators of the show find out way in advance compared to us or probably even the actors/actresses, like right this second they are probably done if not then almost done filming season 5 2. Nice, didn't even think about that and we actually saw this when Juliette first started becoming a hexenbiest and ripped Rosalee's throat out, i was watching like aww you messed up girl, you better go up and pack a bag and leave before Nick or Monroe get here, no note, no call just leave, then she woke up lol

OMG, I completely forgot about that episode, lol. Let's hope they don't rely on that old storyline to bring things back to order.

Considering how much Greenwalt and Kouf are influenced by Joss Whedon, chances are they'll follow the "Buffy is dead" arc for Juliette pretty closely. This article seems to imply they're going to take that direction:
http://www.christiantoday.com/article/gr.../54124.htm "In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Greenwalt refused to confirm if the veterinarian-turned-Hexenbiest is really gone, but Kouf said that she is definitely out in season 5. Kouf also shared with TV Line that Tulloch will probably no longer appear in the next season of the show." So, short answer: Yes, Juliette is gone. For the moment.

I hated the season finale. Too weak, too lame, too many wrapped-up-in-a-big-red-bow feeling. My issues: #1. Yes, how did Trubel just show up @ Nick's house, just in time to Kill Juliette? And, where did she go if she didn't get on the helicopter? Same points you brought up. Biggest issue: #2. Trubel. When she finds out about Adeline, that she is now "preggers again" "yes, that Adeline", she doesn't demand to know more. Just kind of accepts it.-- #3. At Bud's house, when she finds out that her beloved friend Juliette is now a Hexenbiest, per Rosealee: "oh she torched the trailer and tried to shoot Monroe. '... and Adeline says, "And kill me." The Trubel we all know and love is quick-witted, brash, outspoken, says WTH she thinks before thinking. She should have bitch-slapped Adeline and blamed her for most of what happened to Juliette, after all, she knows about the "magic switch" with Adeline turning into Juliette, having sex with him, to remove his Grimm powers. I was flabbergasted she did not scream at Adeline and storm out of the room. If someone did that to my friend, someone I loved and cared about, I would rip them a new-a*hole. It's almost like Trubel was acting like someone else or her mind was somewhere else. This Chavez being after her, or if they're "working" together, would explain a lot. #4. At Nick's house, all she says is "Goodbye Juliette". And shoots the crossbow. Not "Hey, WTF are you doing!!!!!" "It can't be true." I would have liked to seen Trubel and Juliette fight and Juliette runs off. Just my thoughts.

It's not uncommon for a series character to die, even when it seems unnecessary. Writers like to kill a character as a means to keep from seeming predictable. Sometimes a series will go too far doing this; on LOST, as soon as I really started t like a character he or she would die. I gave that show up in disgust after a couple years. I liked Juliette, but when she died I was thinking "Yay!" I was much more concerned back when it looked like Renard would die. His conflicts were interesting in ways that Juliette's were not. Anyway, Nick's aunt warned that a Grimm must cut himself off from those he loved. He didn't, and both he and Juliette paid the price. I don't want the writers to spoil the high tragedy of it all; let the dead stay dead. (On the other hand, if we lost Rosalee, it would be heart-wrenching. Bitsie Tulloch was capable as Juliette, but she wasn't given the best material to work with. At her best, her character lacked a certain warmth.)
W/O Juliette, Nick is free to try a new love and new love excites fan interest. I hope Adelind Shade and Nick grow closer. The former seems to be trying to come out of the darkness, the darkness which Juliette was too weak to resist. Corruption stories upset; redemption stories warm the heart. But Hank seems to have a lingering interest in Adeline, too, and that could presage a triangle. Whatever happens, I hope Adelind is around for a good while yet. Re: wfmyers1207's issues. I don't agree with every opinion stated. I think season 3 and 4 have been the best. Trubel's story in 3 made that season for me, and in 4, Julette's encounter with her dark side and surrender to it was very engaging. I watched the powerful last episode 3 times and I'd rate it well. Issues: "Why did Trubel go to Nick's house *and* bring a crossbow with her?" I see it this way. Nick told everyone to go home. Where else could Trubel go? Nick's house was her place to crash when she was in town. The crossbow was used at the mansion, by Hank, I recall, but it belonged to Nick. Hank would logically pass it to Trubel to return to Nick. Maybe Hank gave Trubel a lift from Bud's house to Nick's place. The question: "How did Juliette escape from the king *and* get back to Nick's house so fast?" Admittedly, I was surprised that Juliette was not in the 'copter. She didn't have to escape the king; she didn't want to go with him for some reason. Maybe she intended to take a private flight to Europe later, because she wanted to complete her vengeance against Nick. (Her transformation seemed to have made her psychotic. There seemed to be nothing left inside Juliette except rage and hate. We have seen at least 3 other hexenbeists that have been milder persons than Juliette.) Also, I didn't think she got home with unrealistic speed. Nick and company didn't go directly home; they stopped at Bud's house first. Juliette could have found a ride or a vehicle at or near the mansion. Who can keep anything from a hexenbeist if she really wants it? The only odd thing about that scene was that Nick told her to get out. It has always been my understanding that Juliette owned the house. Maybe he meant, "If you don't get out of my sight I'll kill you." But if he was thinking that when he spoke, he turned out not to mean it. Hmmm, will Nick have to move out if the house is inherited by Juliette's family? wfmyers1207, next point, "I don't have a lot of hope for next season after what I've seen last week." I don't feel that way; I'm charged. I would give the writers kudos. I only worry that it will be hard for them to do justice to the possibilities that have been opened by these late events. As I say, I'd like to see Adelind develop into a more positive character. I also hope that the hole that Juliette's passing leaves in the cast will be filled by making Trubel a regular. That girl in black is a real charmer. I can't recall a Trubel episode that wasn't better than average. One off topic question that remains, how is Nick going to make up for the loss of research material at the trailer? Will he get more books from some dead Grimm, such as his mother or maybe Josh Porter, if the latter should come to an unfortunate end?
