Renard had to give in to all of Nick’s demands, and the only thing he got in return was not being humiliated even more in public. Nick did not take any orders in season 6, instead he told Renard a couple of times that he did not call the shots – and Renard had no choice but to accept. The fact that Diana was loyal to her mother, and Adalind was totally loyal to Nick, did not make Renard’s situation any easier either.
Bonaparte was dead. We didn't see hide nor hair of Lucien. The north precinct had been destroyed. There were no more clandestine meetings chaired by ranking officials of BC with hundreds of wesen in attendance. Even Billie Trump disappeared and there were no more shops being destroyed or wesen killed. I would say that's a very good indication that BC had been obliterated.

He didn't have any of that after he turned into mayor Renard. In point of fact, that actually didn't come until later on. But you bring up an interesting point, (and I don't often say that). It does seem strange that Adalind has never cast any type of a revenge spell on Renard. Eve is a different story. She had already morphed into Renard, yet the team didn't even consider using her to impersonate him as mayor. I have a feeling she wouldn't have done it anyway.
As for the staff, we all know Nick changed his universe, so the people he came back to in the portal were not the ones he left behind. I suppose you could be right. He could control alternate universe Renard if he wanted to. But then he could control Adalind, the scoobies, even the kids.
The best way to frustrate a cyberbully is to ignore him.
