Disappointed by the amount of Renard/Adalind interaction, but not the content. Enjoyed Renard flustered and off his game, and loved spunky Adalind, she’s been gone much too long and hope to see much more of her.
Was put off by Nick immediately inferring from Renard’s action that he was a possible ally instead of opposition. Not sure what Renard has to do for Nick to grasp that he is not and never has been an alley for any reason other than his own interests. Eve, Juliette, or is she Sibylline now? Why can’t this character just be allowed to be? I didn’t get any indication that Eve is now capable of seeing or predicting the future. Rosalee explained that it was the dead man passing into a hell like realm/dimension who reached out and connected with Eve. Eve has a pure soul because of the stick? Is that G&K’s religious reference - the stick washes away all sin even when the person hasn’t sought absolution? Hopefully they will make it clear that any religious reference is to that in the Grimmverse. If Eve has a pure soul because of the stick, does Monroe and Nick? I hope everything the characters do or experiences in S6 is not based only on magical and supernatural causes. Renard has always pursued power, capable of doing whatever was necessary. He’s never been presented as incapable of feeling empathy, only capable of compartmentalizing his emotions for the sake of logical and self-serving motives. So hopefully, Renard is simply experiencing and projecting guilt over Meisner’s torturous death. But that’s probably not cool enough for Grimm.

Hi Forum,
This was a good episode with lots of action and plot progress. In particular I liked how Sleazy Sean revealed his true nature. Officer Franco is not comfortable following Prince Renard's orders. Will the whole precinct decide to turn on the Creepy Captain? I was also pleased to see the Wooden Woman's power reduced. The other characters tolerated her arrogance out of fear. They are beginning to let FrankenEve know their disdain of her for all the vile acts of hatred she committed against them. And Bud is back! All of his scenes brighten up with humor. His comic delivery is great. N G

All in all a good beginning for the last season of the show.
A few things I found interesting: Franco and a couple of other cops are obviously not comfortable with Renard's actions. He is behaving a little unhinged. For one thing, the "shoot to kill order", that is an unlawful order in the US. Someone can be declared "armed and dangerous" and should be approached with extreme caution, but no one can lawfully give a "shoot on sight" order. Now that they have Renard's prints from Rachel's the crew has a way to bring him down, or at least rein him in. One thing that really struck me was that the writer's have now implied that the stick has somehow 'purified' Eve/Juliette's soul. Now, understand that this is a purely academic discussion, but it seems to me that G&K have now kind of painted themselves into a corner theologically speaking. To my knowledge only Christianity has the concept of a soul being redeemed. In fact it was to redeem the souls of humanity that Jesus was said to have come to Earth in the first place. Now, my point is that from a plot line point of view on the show, the stick being part of the "True Cross" is the only reasonable explanation. I truly can't think of any other religious artifact that would have this power. Any other ideas about this? And do you think G&K will take it anywhere, or is this going to become just another plot hole?
