Something more than just the usual 'what do you do if an animal is snarling at you and you have a gun'? Maybe, with a little thought, you can get things rolling again.Gee, I thought we were both enjoying our little back and forth, I know I was, sorry about my misunderstanding. Another analogy from real life: you are fishing in the Everglades, doing a legal open carry, a 15 foot boa climbs into your boat. I am fairly sure you would blast away, reload and repeat and repeat and repeat. Now you did not know if the snake was just tired of swimming and wanted a dry place to sun itself, why did you yell "SNAKE", wet your pants, and expend 25 expensive rounds. Would anyone expect you to say, "Wow, what a beautiful example of God's creation" and then wait to see what happened? NO. Same with the wessen, see a Grimm, kill a Grimm. Since wessen only woge when they were excited, Truble would not have known who or what to fear, she never said she cut off humans' heads, only the monsters who attacked her. That she was still sane says she has a very level head and knew reality when she saw it.
But I will respond to Hell Rell's comment:

I get the impression Trubel could generate her own trouble if she so wished. She was attacked, but not constantly. She carried a knife and knew how to use it. If it was so consistently bad as presumed, she would have been a basket case and not gone off with Josh.
