Yes, they left their mark outside the warehouse where it happened.

The latest audits show that explosives and weapons pass screening undetected 96% of the time even with the latest equipment. Yes, I am very familiar with it. What you do not understand is, when you book travel with < 7 days advance you trigger a different level of security., 3 day advance another level, same day extreme level of scrutiny. Try and go to the airport and buy a ticket and pay cash for same day travel and you will have a very interesting experience. All passengers are prescreened 7 days in advance of travel. If you get under 7 days the window the level of scrutiny goes up. What Nick and Monroe did guarantees them an in person interview at the airport and thorough examination of their possessions. the airline will be notified and may not accept you as a passenger without respect for what TSA says and he pilot is also notified and has the final go or no go decision. The pilot may also choose to accommodate you as a passenger but alter the plan;e security such as emptying First Class and barricading the aisles during flight. The may also ask passenger with military or prior experience to sit in first class on on the aisles. On their return the same thing applies. In short prescreen process all passengers go through takes 7 days. Anything less triggers different levels of scrutiny.
Oxford commas are so totally rad!.

They could have booked a flight that was not commercial. You can still do that - lots of places fly overseas. And the process for boarding etc is different.
Also, Renard is not the head of BC. He's in Portland - which is not the main place. It just happened to be where Conrad needed to be as he was where the lineage book was and that was his reason for being there (not just Renard) and Diana as well - reunited with parents and a huge plus in their "fight" for BC to take over. Only he messed up by hurting Adalind. The only secure, pure love, or really any real show of caring has come from Adalind. She's even snuggled with her. Adalind loves her daughter. Truly loves her and wants absolutely nothing from her (except for when she needed to deliver a message) which Diana obligingly did. Very monotone on her remembrance of mom Kelly - just a "yes" that was with absolutely no empathy at all. Conrad was just ONE of the founders of BC. Who are the others? What are their powers? Who or what are they tied to? So many ways this could play out; depending on how many episodes they get and if this is the final season or if it will continue on. Not knowing all that makes it difficult to write IMO so you stick with what is known and the effects it has and will have to all those involved. Only new characters that would need to be introduced would possibly be other Grimm's, the other founder or founders of BC, and seeing various wesen that are part of BC and if they are worker bees/boots on the ground or higher ups and what their jobs are. Exactly where does Lucien fit in? Will there be someone on tv that show us that? Like on an episode will the tv be on and a breaking report from Washington perhaps and the person standing at the podium giving the press release like the speaker of the house or the WH person that does that or for one of the agencies like HLS or whatnot could that be Lucien? Or is he just the gatekeeper for the founder - the one that goes first and recruits wesen to use and adjust their jobs no matter what they do to fit the cause and the greater good vision of BC and how it is important to their agenda? Could other houses of the Royal family be involved in the uprising of BC? We know Sean's family and we met one other head of another family (the female that Sean knew) is there going to be a different house that comes forward? Do they have keys? Is there still something that if all of the correct and number of keys that something happens? Explore the Grimm and Wesen history. OPEN THE DANG LINEAGE BOOK! If it was worth ALL the bloodshed then to me there is more than just the family trees of Grimm's listed in there. Has to be. Why has nobody thought about peeking at that especially Trubel? It's like "who am I and where do I belong/fit in" let me see if Yosef put my name in since Nick's is in there! And Alexander. And the fate of the scoobies as they split up. Not so much Trubel and Eve since they are close to the FOME but Hank and Wu - where did or does their portion of the tunnel end? Is it a dead end like RoRoe? And just because RoRoe hit a dead end and was hugging it out over the pregnancy it wasn't a wall it was nothing more than bars so someone could shoot one of them *bang.dead* right then and there ... That ring. Since Conrad is dead does the "you cannot remove" vanquish from it? Or not? Or is she too scared to try? Which child will/would suffer? Both? One? Will that end up being Diana's undoing? She's powerful now. She's still growing and still learning. That is a HUGE cluster ***k to leave out there. Attended or unattended. It can't - as the havoc and the oops of what could happen no matter her age as she lacks IMO impulse control. So many things. Great finale though IMO yet I still needed more than just fight scenes. I wanted more depth to it. Action was great but where were the guts (not the ones on the floor ROFL)
