The other house was near Overlook Park on the other side of the river

Great looking digs. If the windows are tripled layered and made of hurricane proof glass, it would be very energy efficient and able to withstand a lot of damage(flying lumber in a 200 mph breeze).

Sean must have been very confident about his future with BC and sold his other house, or else he would have just moved back to it.

The new house is in a much better neighborhood than the old one, so he must still have had some of his mother's money in the bank.

Sean's new house is on SW Council Crest Dr. At roughly $1.5M, it's the most pricey house any of the Grimm characters has had.
Sean's last house in Overlook was actually worth less than his condo in the Pearl District. Funny that he needed his mom's help to buy a less expensive place. Maybe he was just renting the condo. Location, location, location.

As shady as Sean is. I would imagine with his position in BC and running and winning his position as mayor. I am sure he capitalized on that monetarily. Would not be hard to think Sean would seek kick backs.
Knowing what hexenbiest can do. Being able to scam money would be easy. Instead they show the law firm is capitalizing on the hexenbiest abilities. What is to stop Eve from walking into a closed bank open the vault and help herself. She could blow out all the security cameras. Or she could change to look like some one else. Say the bank manager. We know Adalind is not above doing such things. Especially after the comma and attempted murders.
