They are wesen and things that may be against the law. At natural wesen behavior. Take Monroee by law he would be a criminal and murderer. How many times have we heard Monroe and Rosalee say maybe Nick should leave it alone. Nick answers as a Grimm maybe, but not as a cop. How many times has Nick and the other put down their badge and handled the situation by the rules of the wesen world. These are the things people keep pointing to as The group participating in corruption. It as if people do not even consider they are watching a show called Grimm. A show about a group individuals that live by a different set of rules. They live by the same rules as all other living things on this planet. That is the point the show is making, they show the difference of the laws of man and the laws of nature.
If this is the case, why did Monroe come to America? He's not stupid and would have to know that in another country, a person cannot follow the old ways. This is yet another contradiction in these wesen. They want the freedom, yet still cling to the ways of the old country?
