Hi,
I'm Mart from Germany and discovered the show just 4 weeks ago on Netflix and then watched the newer episodes on some streaming pages .
I love Game of thrones, the X-files and Star Trek and since January i'm a huge fan of "American horror story" (discovered that gem on Netflix too).
So now i've watched all 4 Grimm seasons in the last month and it was a HELL of a ride!
I think this is my number 1 show now, i even love it more than Game of thrones, because i care so much for the characters.
I never thought this would happen to me again, that i could really feel that warmth again and that i feel so much familiar with those guys.
That's mostly Monroe and Rosalee, i mean they're so sweet and great and i feel like i just could knock at their door and say "hey, i don't feel good, can i stay with you guys for some days?" and they would just go "sure" and we'd have some great time together.
It all comes down to the actors, and in the case of Grimm, they've had really one VERY lucky hand to find such a bunch of talented guys who are just giving EVERYTHING into the play.
I love just everyone, Nick, Juliette, Monroe and Rosalee, Hank, Wu, Captain Sean, Adalind, the freaking annoying Icebiber neighbour ("shut the f*uck up!") ... list goes on and on. What an adorable bunch of people!
When they turned Juliette into Hexenbiest my first thought was "oh, this is SO great, now they struggle with it but in a while Nick and her come back together and fight all those bad-asses".
And it would have really been great, as they suggested that Juliette isn't just some random Hexenbiest, but one with some really enormous power.
She and Nick could've made one HELL of a team together!
And then came the episode "Iron Hans" and Juliette set the trailer on fire at the end, and that was the first time this show made me really cry bitter tears! (And i don't cry that easily on TV-shows!)
I just sat there and thought "why is she doing this?" and felt so sad.
I really LOVED the trailor sooo much. So many memories, when Nick, Monroe and Hank were there to figure out things.
And now all that is lost.
I mean ... the trailer was one major "character" of the show and when i look at ratings pages, i can see that lots of viewers were lost, after the trailer was destroyed. You can't do that, producers! HUGE mistake!
And now they even made Juliette Nicks worst enemy by helping killing his mum and she got struck down by two arrows at the end and is most likely dead for good.
Why, why, why???
I can't believe this is happening, i just went to love all those characters together soooo much and now that's falling apart.
The ratings have gone so bad recently, so making Juliette the bad guy she became and destroying the trailer was surely the worst decision the producers could make!
They kind of ripped off the heart of the show!!!
Sure, it was renewed for a 5th season, but that was in February, before the huge ratings drop!
If NBC knew about this before, they wouldn't have renewed it at all, i'm sure!
So the producers are really some asses, they f*ck the fans and they f*ck the show! HATE them, they nearly ruined it!
I don't even think they'll get a full season 5, i'm sure it will be much less than 22 episodes and i wonder if it will be the last season.
Just came around to love those guys and now i'm about to loose them again that soon! *cry*
Oh my.
I just don't want this great show to end, it still has so much potential!
I wish i could do something, but i feel so helpless.
It's been so long that i loved a TV show that much and that i could watch 7 or 8 eps in a row without getting tired of it.
Don't wanna loose that and hope sooo much they do it right in S5 and reunite Juliette and Nick to be the unbeatable slayers and then the ratings maybe recover and there will be some more seasons.
Fingers crossed. Please don't mess this up, producers, it's in your hands!
My love to all Grimm fans out there ... what a great show!
