Now this gets him in with the resistance, one to keep and eye (for HW) on the resistance and to keep eyes on the royals?(05-05-2016, 12:55 PM)Adriano Neres Rodrigues Wrote: [quote='irukandji' pid='28484' dateline='1462475879']

Considering the elements we have the show until now and applying real situation/logic to the question. I think it would impossible for the wesen destroy humanity and survive the process. BC would have to manage too many resources (financial, physical - weapons - and political…). And what about the day after effects? If we consider half to half wesen and humans, destroying all humans would mean kill half of the population of earth. Can you think about the economic effects of this event, for example?
Just to show how hard would be for the writers to write something minimal logical and viable about BC destroying humanity.
The writers could use some magic stuff. But this stuff would need to be REALLY magic and powerful.
The writers could also say that BC managed to elect the United States president. This way this BC member could use the US nuclear weapons to destroy humanity. But in this solution the collateral effect is that a nuclear war would affect wesens and humans. The writers would have to solve that. How?
In a real world situation, as far as I know (correct me if I am wrong) the US president would need some kind of authorization from congress to start a war. Is it right?
This solution to really works BC would need to able to elect in the same time the US president but also some presidents in Europe and why not in Russia and try to manipulate China…
Well… I sincerely can’t see how to write wesens destroying humanity in a viable way. But… maybe someone sees a solution that I can’t.
That is why I personally prefer to believe that BC leaders are just using the masses to get other objectives.
I need to clarify what I was trying to say, Adriano. I didn't phrase this very well. I was thinking about all of the species of wesen we have seen since Grimm began. Portland and its surrounding areas probably amount to over a million people. I don't see it being much larger than that because it's one of our sister cities are we are just over a million right now.
If Grimm has shown us 70 different species of wesen, we'd have to multiply that by some kind of a number to come up with the percentage of wesen that live in Portland and its surrounding areas. I know we haven't seen all the wesen there is to see. So, say that 80% of the population of Portland is wesen. 20% is human. I mean just regular human, not half wesen. Could BC potentially wipe out the human population?
One other thing for consideration. The BC is putting Renard in a position of some authority, although I wonder just how much a mayor could do. But say most of the world's authority figures are already wesen, and they firmly believe they are the next step in evolutionary order. Could genocide of humans be in the plans?
Now the wesen population of Portland I see it as more 80% human and 20% wesen but using the fear type tactics of all dictators the 20% could control the 80%. They don't have to kill them at least for a time. Later if they take over then they could do a human cleansing. Now they would want to keep some humans for labor.
So using this platform could a wesen uprising work?
