I LOVE Trubel! I think she's a needed shot in the arm, after the horrible season when Julliette was in a coma (BOOR-RIING), and then the stupidity of the next season when she didn't now who Nick was (STUU-PID and also annoying). I don't think I'll EVER recover from those seasons, and I suspect Grimm lost some viewers over it, but I wasn't one of them because I knew it would get better.
I think Julliette is a major hindrance to this show and if any character should be in jeopardy, it's her. Even this season with her memory back, she STILL annoys me. And WHY won't she marry Nick? That's getting old as well. If she doesn't like his lifestyle, hit the road!
I think we desperately needed Trubel. I hope they make her Nick's sister, only because she's too young for him to marry.
So here's my vote loud and clear - KEEP TRUBEL!
I disagree with you on Trubel and also on Renard's mother. I cannot believe they made her an air-headed blond! She is not a strong character, and has no personality. I don't know what the writer's were thinking making her look so young. It's like they have a bias against older women, which may be why Nick's mother is hardly ever on. We don't need any "hot blonds" to hold our interest. I don't find Renard's mother a believable, interesting character.
On the other hand, Toboni is anything BUT "stilted and underwhelming." In the beginning, she was understandably wary of people, having just learned she was a Grimm, and having had such a terrible childhood. But I see her warming and growing. I want Trubel to stay.
(And, oh, yeah, I could do without "what's her name," the hexenbeist. Her story line is maxed out. Let's have that beautiful baby of hers back, though.
And I'd have NO problem with that.

I think the character TRUBEL adds very little value to the show. I continue to think the actress J Troboni is stilted and underwhelming.
More importantly, I hate the screen time she is getting. I'd much rather see more of MonRosalee, Renard, Hank, Wu, and now Renard's mother (whose character is much more interesting and is a better actress).
TRUBEL screen time is dead time for me. I hear crickets chirping.

And I'd have NO problem with that.
I''m not mad, I'm just from Philly!
