Not so long ago we saw him and Chavez beat down the Black Claw when they were attacked. I know it was a showcase for Eve, but Nick should not have been caught unaware having been in a similar situation not so long ago.No he shouldn't. None of them should just have walked into a trap. They had a plan the time they went up against the wesenrein. Where was one on this occasion?
In 5.07 Nick , Hank and Trubel are in the car and Nick says 'Ican't arrest him'. Trubel says 'Thanks , that's all I need to know'.
There I am watching, thinking why's Hank even in the car, let alone telling Trubel she just can't go in there and kill a guy. Being wanted in connection with two murders is a reason to arrest someone. Hank doesn't even call Nick on that. Grimm set out as a police procedural. I struggle to identify what it is right now. Don't tell me 'reboot' as if that explains everything. It doesn't justify getting the procedure wrong.
That was actually the lamest and least believable thing about that episode. These people are supposed to be pros! A newbie would have known better than to go into that warehouse without recon!
