Sooo many people are ticked off at the writers for trying to redeem Adalind and damn Juliette with the same hand. I think this is great and needed to breath a new life into the show. A lot of people cite all the horrific things Adalind has done as reasoning why her and Nick should never be together.
Let me play devil's advocate here.
-----------------------------------------------------
Adalind only attempted to kill Marie, the seduction and attempted murder of Hank and the accidental posioning of Wu under the orders of Renard whom Nick forgave.
Everything else she did in retaliation for Nick taking her powers and stealing her child. She could have flat out killed Juliette with ease, all she did was wipe out her memory of Nick.
Adalind is one of the most trustworthy loyal people on the show even if it doesn't feel like it. She commits herself to whatever she is doing and only betrays those who betray her.
----------------------------------------------------
Now Juliette on the other hand:
- Set up his mother to be murdered.
- Burned down his trailer which was his family's legacy and one of the only ties he had to his surrogate mother Marie.
- Mocked him for his love of her even to her death.
- Attempted to murder Monroe with Nick's own hand.
- Acted completely ambivalent when the order was given to wipe whoever was left in the house out.
- Slept with Renard and Kenneth out of pure spite towards Nick and sounded like she was well on the way to be the King's play toy in Vienna.
That's only counting post-hexenbeast stuff, we're not even counting the stuff she put Nick through as a human including kicking him out of his own house and repeatedly refusing to marry him.
----------------------------------------------------------
So, in conclusion, Yeah, I think Adalind is forgivable and that Nadalind is a OTP on par with all the other controversial ships on TV out there.
-----------------------------------------------
if you have a rebuttal or something to add to my argument, please feel free to do so. Just make sure to keep it on a positive constructive level.
