Trying to figure out what to expect with the new Eve. I went back and watched season 5 again. What I found is Adalind she regrets what she did. Be she does not feel remorse. The entire season she nevers does anything to even try and make amends. I noticed Nick keeps asking Eve if she feels remorse. She replies that he thinks he is talking to Juliette. She turns right around and tells him she has regrets. I compared this with Nick. Who has no regrets for what he does. All things point to him doing it again. Though he may not regret doing what he felt he needed to do. He feels remorse and constantly tries to atone when not betting him self up for what he does. Juliette before she became a hexenbiest was the same way. She has never regretted taking Diana. But she feels empathy for what it did to Adalind.
IMO this establishes enough of a pattern for me to speculate that Eve will not be in a depressive state, constantly trying to make it right and get everyone approval. She will regret the trailer. She will regret not stepping in and helping his mother. She will not regret helping Kenneth. She will regret not seeing Kenneth plan. The same as she regrets not seeing the Dixon assassination. She will not regret the attitude she had toward everyone in season 5. She will say she is sorry for the spice shop but will not regret having set them straight.
Eve took Conrad on and almost died. She will hold it against Adalind that she did not even try to take on Conrad. That she gave up and went to BC. It will not be she is mad. It will be more a lack of respect for her. From the time of the Adalind and Juliette fight. It seems Adalind has had respect for Eve along with the fear. Since the fight not once has Adalind made a threat against Juliette. Even when Kenneth was telling how Juliette bet up the guy in a bar. Adalind replied who of us has not done that. I think this is where Adalind and her knowledge of hexenbiest and potions, that Eve will admire and be the catralyst for them to work together. Thought Eve is the stronger of the two. It will be Adalind that teaches Eve.
IMO the the darker Nick gets and acts more like a Grimm, the closer he will get to Eve and the further he will get from Adalind. Adalind does not want to be with that side of Nick. That is the side of Nick that Eve will be able to relate to. It will be Adalind that is pushing for Nick to hang on to his humanity. It will be Eve that wants Nick to Grimm up and get the job done.
