OK, I'm going to go back to the original topic. It may not be that female grimms are inherently more aggressive then males but rather that they tend to come to it earlier in life. In early life we tend to be more impulsive and aggressive. If that behavior is imprinted in early adulthood it would probably carry over in later life.
From an evolutionary perspective this would actually make some sense. Females are the child bearers and raisers. So, female grimms tend to start experiencing things when they reach child bearing age. They can recognize a threat to their young and react accordingly. It would not be so important for males to get the ability early in life, so long as they were willing to be 'muscle' when their women folk told them to be.
There is an old saying: "There is no more dangerous place in the world than between a mother and her child!"
