Not being familiar with much of anything that goes on in the Fox organization I have no idea which it is, but I don't see any reports of outraged ousted Fox personalities suing the company for defamation.
At any rate, getting back to Grimm, I don't see how politics enters into the show's cancellation, because nobody was writing letters of outrage from either side of the political spectrum. The show had not-so-good ratings for its last couple of seasons, and most of us figured that S05 only happened to get to 100 episodes for syndication. It was a surprise when the shoots for 520-522 turned out not to be a series finale.
IMO, Grimm was more of a fantasy series showing the conservative view of life in the fantasy world applied to real life. The same was with “Last man Standing’. I agree, Grimm was not the most popular show in its time slot and in its classification. And moving it around to worse time slots didn’t help. Whom is to blame for that? But I also have seen shows with less popularity go on longer because their narrative conforms to more of their liberal narrative.
You want proof? Ask the many conservative actors, writers and producers that keep their political views suppressed so they don’t get black listed. Yet, do you think any of the performers at the latest award show will ever be blacklisted on their political views expressed at an Award Ceremony that had nothing to do with politics?
Again, do your research and look for that one interview. It was the whole gang being intervies and Silas was the one that expressed his outlook on their audience. NM, I got it. Its only 50 seconds into the interview below.
