...
Bit of an overkill this time on the episode easter egg.
Yeah, whats up with this season? Its like they got a grant from the TV Prop and Prosthesis Guild or something...was there an "informative murder porn" show that got cancelled and they needed somewhere to put the staff under contract?
I just don't remember the previous seasons being as gratituously gory - it seems like they're trying to get one mangled corpse on screen just about every episode, seemingly just because they can.
And yeah, they're really jamming the episode numbers in your face now, too. Apparently every room in Portland is numbered in the low 300s

Our new Wesen, the “Wildesheer”, German “Wilde Jagd”, is exactly the episode title “Wild Hunt”
She was braising them, you can braise brats
And I really thought it was going to be a Wendigo at first, with a Native American flavor...but nope, just a "generic monster" Wesen, and the scalping was just because they could. Pale Boy, I know you'll appreciate that they seem to have stolen a page from S.H.I.E.L.D. with the "Berserker" tie-in

(I seem to remember him having an interest in antiques or artifacts way back in that Goldilocks-type episode.) It was cool seeing him recognize all those different languages. Little details ftw.
Was that supposed to be what you took away from that scene? I didn't get it was supposed to imply Hank was some kind of amateur philologist...I think pretty much anyone could recognize the languages he listed, it wasn't like there was anything in Sanskrit or Akkadian cuneiform or anything.
