Could be, but considering how G & K chose to write the S5 finale....
Nick wasn’t able to break free from Bonaparte’s mind games or fight his way out of BC’s hold in the north precinct. It was the others intervening that saved Nick and enabled his escape. If not for the stick’s introduction, Nick would have died from mortal gunshot wounds shortly after BC attacked his fortress. We can only assume the stick would have healed Nick after Bonaparte killed him using only his mind/thoughts. We can only assume Nick would have defeated Bonaparte and Renard or escaped without Diana’s intervention.
Perhaps in S6 the stick will enhance Nick’s abilities in addition to healing mortal wounds.
Grimm powers may be mysterious because we’ve only seen Nick, Trubel, and Kelly as Grimms over the course of five seasons while being introduced to multiple types of Wesens and their abilities. Team Grimm deserves a hefty amount of credit for their part in helping Nick. Other than Nick being the central character, we can’t know if he would have survived all his battles without Team Grimm.
Considering how powerful the show made Juliette Hexenbiest, it’s reasonable to believe Nick couldn’t have defeated her even with the help of Team Grimm without catching her unaware long enough to put a few poisoned arrows into her. Based on the Spice Shop scene, Juliette could have used her mind to force Nick to shoot everyone in the room then turn the gun on himself.
The thing with Grimm, and probably most shows, is that a scene will be written to create a specific reaction while giving little thought to what it means for the characters involved.
Yeah that is really True, but it is very unfortunate that Grimm's powers were so decreased in S5, Nick, would die against Juliette, because he is not experienced enough as Grimm but Detective.
I wish to see Endezeichen Grimm, They were highly trained in killing wesen, and i'm pretty sure experienced Endezeichen Grimm would kill Juliette, Thats the reason why every wesen were scared of Grimm's for so long, Including Hexenbiest/Zauberbiest.
As we know in the show, Hitler tried to make wesen dominant, But Grimm's stopped them. Nick is not trained in physical fights at all, However he could beat zauberbiest + blutbad when zombified.
Also as we know the Stick had curse on it, I wish that the curse will be Nick getting same "zombified" effect, and more powerful, Going on the rampage, Or at least some experienced Grimm will appear in the show, He does not know how to use his powers, He uses pistol, But he should carry Crossbow, Axe, and every weapon, that way he could kill Hexenbiest/Zauberbiest.
I am still taking Grimm's side though, by knowing consequences of show's circumstances.
