Here's the problem with "Nadalind," and it's a problem that's going to remain no matter how many times it's rationalized or dismissed: For all intents and purposes, Adalind sexually assaulted Nick. Like it or not, condoning a relationship between Nick and Adalind is indirectly condoning rape as a positive base for marriage, family, etc. to be built upon. If the genders were reversed, the writers would be lynched for basically saying a woman can happily settle down with the man who violated her in the worst way imaginable. But of course, it only qualifies as "rape" if a man does it. If a woman does the exact same thing, it's "seduction."
And yes, I'm quite aware of all the unforgivable bullshit Juliette pulled on Nick. But that was a case of the writers intentionally forcing characters where they wanted them to go, narrative consistency be damned. They shot themselves in the foot by the end of season four, and the show never fully recovered. The idiotic Eve/BC/HW arc was the last straw for a lot of viewers.
