No. If anything, I think the writers’ initial approach to the Nick/Juliette relationship - settled down, unexciting, familiar - was a little boring but not something that should have negatively effected the relationship. It was, IMO, the writers bombarding the couple with one bizarre drama after another rather than allowing them to deal with the expected relationship strains they’d confront with Nick becoming a Grimm that made the relationship unbelievable and eventually unsalvageable. For me, these same bizarre dramas make Nick/Adalind equally unbelievable and unsalvageable.
As for DB and BT, I think the chemistry or lack of, would be different between the real life people and the fictional characters. That I don't sense chemistry between Nick & Juliette doesn't mean I wouldn't sense chemistry between DB & BT because they're not playing themselves on the screen.
