Thinking of this from a parenting experience, I again wonder, how should a parent act when confronted with the suggestion that their long lost child can be returned to him? Should Renard have spit in their face and told them to go to hell? Should he have told them he doesn't give a hang about Adalind and it's too bad if she misses her kid? What should he have told them?
