As we saw frequently, there are plenty of non-wesen who know what wesen are. Royals, the resistance and, of course, grimms. Listing yourself in the white pages as "Monroe Blutbaden" could be like hanging a target on your back.
BTW, real life info: in my draft copy of the Grimm pilot script, Monroe's first appearance identifies him as "Eddy Monroe." OTOH, it also introduces Nick's girlfriend "Juliette Lambert" as she serves croissants in her "C'est la Vie Bakery." And dresses "Nick Burckhardt" and "Hank Green" in suits and ties. So take that with however big a grain of salt you prefer.
Again, you are guessing and making an assumption that a few people would know. A very small minority of the population at hand in a neighborhood of a small city in the USA. The Royals wouldn't even know he existed until he hooked up with Nick.
As for Grimms? They see the personal woge way before they get their last name. Again, it is so obvious. Monroe pulls out a plate inscribed with what he refers as his "Family Crest" that was handed down from an ancestor, 200 years prior. This is not my opinion but Monroe's dialogue associated with the picture of the crest on a plate with the Blutbaden name.
You know you are OLD, when you see the Slide Ruler you used in college selling in an ANTIQUE SHOP!!
