@irukandji It was a question of the writers deciding what was going to happen without any thought as to what their characters would do in the situation.
I've held all along that Juliette needed to destroy Hadrian's Wall. From the inside just suited her purpose. I've no wish to see episode after episode of Juliette angst or Renard's portrayal as the villain. I thought Juliette was well on the way to being a fully fledged villain of her own choice in season 4. Renard's not a convincing villain. He's always been out for the main chance to further his own goals. He's not a team player.
