Meisner hasn't done anything wrong. Instead of killing Juilette as she deserved to be he gave her a chance to redeem herself. There was only 2 other options for Juilette which was they kill her or they imprison her for the rest of her life.
Juilette was basically a uncontrollable rapid dog who was a danger to everyone. Yet you are trying to compare what Renard did to Miesner actions as though they are even similar. Nick isn't acting like a rapid dog and Renard is trying to kill Nick not "Redeem" him.
Miesner has shown to have high morals when he protecting Adalind/Diana, Gave Juilette a chance to be redeemed, and joined HW to stop Wesen uprising that threatened to harm and kill many. This is why Miesner has the right to play conscience to Renard.
