Adalind's willing to go to jail by lying in court to help Nick. That's a very admirable quality in a character, don't you think? This is an excellent example of the moral indifference of G&K.
Just to put things in perspective: This was part of a plan to help Nick and to take down Renard - who had become a leading figure in a terrorist organization planning to take over the world -
if necessary, through ethnic cleansing (of non-wesen and Grimms). It turned out Adalind never got to testify, because Renard’s friends (and/or BC) had already taken over the justice system. And by the way, it’s uncertain if Renard really won the election. Is there anyone who believes that BC would be stopped by losing? Certainly, the counting of votes was also rigged. So by taking down Renard, Nick was also protecting the democracy. But by all means, focus on the potential horrors of Adalind lying in court to help Nick....
