Do you believe the Nick and Adalind were destined for one another from the start? Did you get that vibe every time you saw her on screen at the same time Nick was on screen?
Of course not. Didn't occur to me before sometime in season 4. We all know how and why this happened. But the chemistry existed from the start. What do that have to do with Adalind being portrayed as a strong, smart and independent woman – who made some bad decisions when she was evil? My point: she was not “a dependent, not so bright, skank”, as you put it.

Moses went to Pharaoh and kept asking for him to release Israel and the answer was no, at least ten times until calamity came upon Egypt to force its hand. Pharoah practically kicked Israel out of his country. The point is, we all have choices, as you say, you don't believe and I do. There's nothing more to it.(03-11-2019, 11:37 AM)rpmaluki Wrote: It wasn't just the Israelites that were saved. God said the angel would pass over "every" household that had the blood on the door posts. So you could have some Egyptians saved by simply following after that instruction or some Israelites who weren't by simply ignoring it. In the wilderness, after they left Egypt, God addresses the matter of how they ought to treat those who were not Israelites but were living among them to show that he'd actually saved more than just the children of Israel.
Why did an all powerful, all knowing god need to have humans mark doors with blood to not kill the wrong people? He couldn't figure it out?
Why did a merciful, loving god kill innocent children? The vast majority of them with parents who could not influence the Israelites situation in any way.
Note that I don't believe any of this happened. There is no historical evidence for any of it. I just enjoy watching theists, who are supposed to believe in it, try to justify the barbaric and immoral actions of their god.
