Brandon's comment would be very possible. I live in the deep South. My wife and I entered a very nice antique store run by a little old white lady, when she heard our accent and seeing us looking at pictures of plantation homes, suggested we go into the room behind the curtain "where there's things you might like". All kind of Lost Cause, Confederate heroes, Stars and Bars, picking cotton kind of stuff. Now a non-wessen mom might not be allowed back there, but a dad who could woge would be. Wessen dads are concerned about their kids and would buy books about survival in their real world.(03-16-2019, 08:02 AM)eric Wrote: The primary purpose of being an author is to sell as many books as possible appealing to as many readers as you can
That's not the case here. This fairy story could never be sold to humans.

It could be. On the other hand, Monroe even showing it to Nick and acting as though all wesen were terrorized by this children's book seems to be attempting to lay a large brick in the building of Nick's ego.

I am not speaking for all here, but what I consider the majority. Do you think then that wesen mothers are completely the opposite of their human counterparts? I cannot imagine a human mother sneaking into the forbidden backroom of a bookstore to purchase a fairy story that's going to have such terrible effect on her children. Are wesen mothers so incapable of feeling that to them, it's no big deal?
eric, this goes back to the days prior to only text internet availability. When I lived on Staten Island NY, and Video stores was the rage, the whole borough was zoned as to "no pornography vidoes" of any kind to be sold or rented.
If you wanted to rent VHS or Beta-max porn videos, you could only get them, once you local rental store owner got to know you well enough to take you to his back room for the subject matter you wished to pick from.
I could see the same for a Wesen, owning a book store, doing the same exact thing.
What is intriguing here is, why is this Wesen book and/or Wesen lore/knowledge distribution even a controversy? I know we have extinguished subject matters, to talk about the TV show Grimm, but this is getting ridiculous.
I think it is time for me to start a thread on how the Hexenbiests use of the pot, to make potions to aid in their spell castings, had its effects in contributing to Global Warming.
You know you are OLD, when you see the Slide Ruler you used in college selling in an ANTIQUE SHOP!!
