However, even though Juliette didn't attack Adalind, it seems most people view even a threat as horrific because of Adalind's unborn baby. Juliette doesn't get off the hook even though Adalind opened her big mouth to Wu, said Juliette should leave, and Juliette left.
WOW, Maybe, just maybe I can rescue you. So far you are doing great. The paragraph above is spot on. Good observation and I also agree with you, her threat should not be taken lightly.

So far, so good. I agree with you. What Adalind was doing at this point was, in the least, a despicable act.

You see, this is where you start to go off on the "Jam Interpretation". The concoction she was smearing on her belly was the jam created by the dead flowers she sew in the dead Hex's Frau Pech's rib cage after she got her Hex back. The smearing of the jam was recommended by that gypsy lady Shohreh Aghdashloo that had the old Hex killed and got Adalind's Hex back.
IMO, what created Diana extra powers was not being an offspring of a half a Zouberbiest and a full Hexenbiest. They were a dime a dozen. As we saw, in the Wesen world most species mated with the same species. This is why Bonaparte, most likely an offspring of a full Zouberbiest and a full Hex was more powerful than Sean. An offspring of a Human and a Hex.
Now what made Diana so much more powerful? For one, we can speculate for the same reason the Hex that was transferred to Juliette and while Diana was her unborn child, was not the original Adalind's Hex but the Hex that was induced in her with the ritual that got her Hex back, This is also the same reason why Diana was also more powerful and had a connection to Juliette.
Stay with me so far. This gets better. Technically, Diana should be only a 3/4 Hex since her dad was a half Zouberbiest. This is where the "JAM" comes in, and where I think you miss-interpreted the "jam concept".
That jam application was nowhere "a violent reaction from Diana". It was actually soothing. Than skull formation you saw when she rubbed that jam on her belly was the same skull figure Diana saw on the helicopter glass door just before the King was about to go flying (Diana words, not mines) as Meisner chucked the King out the door. IMO, this is the added factor that made Diana such a more powerful Hex and able to get her powers at such a young age.
Now, before you discount what I wrote. Clear your mind and make believe I did not write this but Tara or eric or even the king of "writers intent" did.

Here again, you are 100% correct. However, you ask, "How is all of this horrendous treatment covered up?" It is not covered up. I can not speak for others but for me, Adalind was still an evil bitch, including after she gave birth to Dana. IMO, the change in Adalind started after she lost Diana. At first, she was just reacting as a standard evil bitch that lost some collateral asset.
Once she was pregnant again and started to realize what she lost, the "mother demeanor" started to take over. Taking that suppression potions sure helped her to transform to her new demeanor. Did I always favor the Adalind character? Hell NO! As much as I have called out Juliette's promiscuous behavior, I never, ever claimed Adalind behavior was less than Juliette's. As a matter of fact, when I made my male/female list of whom was the biggest slut of the main characters, I listed Adalind only second to Sean and Juliette further down, after Hank.

I get it too. I actually started to like Juliette from after the "zombie invasion" episodes to when she started to become a Hex. Do we disagree on whom was to blame for her newfound condition? Obviously, we do. Does it matter whom was more at fault for her becoming a Hex? To me it does not.
Why I give Adalind a pass and not Juliette? Atoning! IMO, Adalind did come clean, Juliette never did. Also, IMO, by the end of S4, Adalind 4 years of scheming never came close to what Juliette was able to accomplish in a few episodes. Juliette became a much better evil Hex than Adalind ever was. Adalind was an amateur compared to the Pro, Juliette became to be.
Too bad she didn't become Eve before she assisted in all the killings and betraying Nick's mom. What did Kelly ever do to Juliette, except to love her as an expected future daughter-in-law. Oh yea, she gave birth to Nick.
You know you are OLD, when you see the Slide Ruler you used in college selling in an ANTIQUE SHOP!!
