You know I enjoy clear definitions:
Quote:corrupt - adjectiveWhen Nick allowed Renard to convince him not to confess to the bar killing and destroy the video evidence he was corrupted. IMO the bar guy's death was an accident but not an evil act Nick did intentionally.
having or showing a willingness to act dishonestly in return for money or personal gain.
evil - adjective
profoundly immoral and malevolent.
When Renard ordered the murder of Marie he was both corrupt and evil. When Kenneth, Hexenette and the Verrat planned and performed the murders of Kelly and the neighbors they were all corrupt and evil. To be clear, the betrayal of Kelly was part of the "plan." The betrayal by itself was corrupt and evil.
A better question would be; why did Nick not warn Kelly of the Hexen risk when he could see the evil inside her? This was Nick's most "fatal" judgement error, and the reason IMO he is a doofus.

Hi New Guy-I know you like those definitions and corrupt certainly applies here. I'm not going to deny that the betrayal was evil. It was. In point of fact, I can't believe so many are focusing on the subsequent murder. The betrayal was far worse in my opinion.
But she's been accused of murder. Among those who adamantly state Juliette was "guilty of murder", I have yet to read the plan of Kelly's murder. Even the factoid police are strangely silent.
This so called murder was planned precisely from the getgo, at least according to what I read. Everything in order up to the moment Kelly was lured in the house. 20 verrat all armed, no doubt Kenneth was armed, and Juliette safely upstairs because she did what she was supposed to do.
So Kelly enters the house and all goes dark. There's some scuffling and Kenneth states they need to "take it outside". I am paraphrasing here because as you know, the factoid police are always on the lookout.
If this was such a carefully planned murder, why didn't Kenneth just shoot her the moment she walked in the house? This is what I don't get. It doesn't sound like it was a planned murder if Kenneth has to tell the verrat, "let's take it outside". (paraphrasing again, the factoid police person is present with his magnifying glass).
The best way to frustrate a cyberbully is to ignore him.
