Yet his own committed lover is left to rot in jail. Nick could have easily bailed her, probably forged the records so she wouldn't even go to trial, even kept an eye on her to prevent danger. But he did nothing. That tells me he wasn't so committed, and in fact, not really committed to her at all.Hi Iruk,
The answer to your question was provided in my post:
Quote: Nick was in love with Juliette and committed to her even until she "died" in his arms. Juliette however played Nick and Rosalee as fools. Nick did not arrest and jail her. She broke the law. Nick knew she needed to be jailed to prevent more violence. His decision to to keep her in jail was astute as a cop and citizen. Kenneth bailed her out to have her assist his mission of murder and mayhem. Indeed she proved Nick was right. It was Nick's blind love, commitment and trust for Juliette that gave her access to burn his trailer, attack his friends, betray his mother to her death and decapitation.
He should have been the astute cop and Grimm to protect himself and those who love him. He should have gone to the DA and be sure she was held without bond. His blind love, commitment and trust made him the doofus who dropped his guard and unleashed the most heinous, violent criminal ever to be jailed in his precinct. When Kenneth got her out, he should have hunted her down like the rabid dog she was.
Not until episode 6.7 "Blind Love" was Nick's flawed judgement given a name. His flaw was contagious since by then FrankenEve was invited to the Scooby party. Why didn't G&K have FrankenEve see Nick and Adalind all snuggly and kissy, get her precinct memory back and explode all their heads?
