Do you believe based on clothes changes only that whole show only represents about 200 days because no one wears the same coat or clothes ever? The script rarely gives clues about the actual date including year clothes cannot be counted as part of the script.
The time line of any show is not based on any formula. for instance. 1 minute in the show equals 12 hours of time line. There are many factors that contribute to it. In any show, 10-minute sequence can time laps 10 days while the next 10 minutes can just be 10 minutes of that same time line. By using other factors surrounding the occurrences you can approximate the time laps.
Another factor you have to understand. The camera cannot be in the same place at the same time. Unless we split the screen let’s say in 4 videos to show you what is happening at the same time.
Many sequences we are shown in different places can be happening at the same time. For instance. When Nick and Hank are working with Monroe with the camper’s investigation. The camera switches to Juliette starting to trash the trailer then burn it, then she calls Nick to tell him. The burning of the trailer did not happen the night after Nick, Hank and Monroe finished finding out who was killing at the camp
Just those 2 sequences were happening at the same time. Let’s say it took 2 hours for Juliette to go to the trailer, trash it, burn it and then call Nick. Meanwhile you see Nick, Hank and Monroe working with those campers for the same 2 hours. That is not 4 hours of time line. It was happening at the same time.
When the gang shows up at the trailer. The camera goes to the spice shop with Adalind and Rosalee were working on the formula. Then the guys show up with the remnants of trailer, then they show up at Buds house to hide Adalind.
While all this is happening, Juliette shows up at Nicks house, Sends the email waits for the response then reports back to Kenneth with the ashes still on her hand and gets the offer to take Adalind room. Another hour or two went by at the same time. Add Sean experience in the pool of water. These sequences happened together not one after the other.
All this happened in hours of one evening/night not a week, 3 months or 3 days
The next morning Hand and Nick are questioning a prostitute while the rest are digging up Adalind mom. These sequences are also happening at the same time not one after another.
In your mind, you have to condense that into the same time line. And there are plenty of situation when 3 or 4 things are happening at the same time. You can have a sequence in Vienna and 3 more in Portland happening at the same time not one after the other
According to your analysis to the time line, when the camera switches from one sequence to another. The character freeze at that moment and only resume when the camera goes back to them.
Girl, you need to keep up lots of shitz is happening at the same time!!
