I think Elizabeth would know that it could be worse,as are the spells "Hexenbiest".
A spell is undone and the side effect remains, as another punishment gives the witch to behave badly with her.
The interest of Adalind was perhaps that juliette would experience what it feels like to be treated as an outcast,because she certainly did not seek to be attacked by Juliette.Nor would it know how it could turn out and what level could a human be that happens to be a "Hexenbiest".
