So Kelly getting an email only from Juliette wouldn’t be an automatic flag.
Eric's right, Juliette was a willing accomplish in Kelly kidnapping Diana, compound that with Nick’s love/trust of Juliette and Kelly’s trust isn’t unfounded.
Kelly absolutely should have questioned an email that simply said Nick is in danger, come quick. And her suspicions should have flown through the roof when she arrived at a dark house after Juliette telling her on the phone to come on in the door’s unlocked. But now we’re back to the poorly constructed scene designed to kill off Kelly easily and quickly. We can either allow one scene to negatively effect established characterization or see it for what it is - G & K blatantly disregarding established characterization.
I agree. Kelly trusted Juliette. Juliette betrayed her trust and Kelly paid with her life. The real character, the epitome of Grimm, Kelly Burkhardt would never have been so careless. She would have taken President Reagan's words "trust, but verify" to heart, turn the trap around, and kill those who plotted against her life, including Juliette. G&K not only disregarded established characterization but managed to insult many loyal fans. To compound the offense after the Scoobies killed all of Kelly's attackers, they brought back the most offensive one Juliette the Betrayer after declaring her dead in multiple interviews. Did they intentionally create FrankenEve to force NBC to cancel the show?
