I was one of the few people who still talk about Grimm? I am paraphrasing here, but you did write something along that line didn't you?You really must separate me from most others. Most people on wiki (not all) are young fans who just watched the show and log on to take about how much they love Grimm. Then they read some post about Nick being corrupt.... I am immune to most of that. Yes, there was a short period of harmony, but it did not end so well. Partly my fault.
I am out of here. We are in completely different time zones, and I need some sleep...
I don't separate you from anyone so don't kid yourself. You're the one that wrote the post to me, not the other way around.
So you believe these young recent fans of Grimm are driven off in droves by big bad irukandji and her tirade about corrupt cop Nick, do you? I hate to burst your bubble here, but the series cancelled over three years ago and for every young impressionable that happens to stumble onto Grimm, and then this forum or wiki, 50 fans disappeared from these forums years ago.
Don't believe me? Take a look at this forum. You were so concerned about my response to Chachanifa? Why? Chachanifa's last visit to the forum was 7/3/2020, and there was no posts to scare him/her away. It's 9 days later and no return yet. For that matter, why don't you tell me where all of these new fans are that I supposedly scared off. They're not posting here and not too many are showing up on wiki. The ones that do, post for a short time and then dwindle away despite your droning to the contrary. I don't even see most of their posts, for all of this fright I'm generating. In other words, those posters were not driven off by anyone. They left on their own because of their own reasons. Give them a little credit will you instead of trying to think for them.
As for the problematic posts, why don't you try reading the right transcript, instead of quoting something from Eve that had nothing to do with what I was talking about? From HIGHWAY OF TEARS:
Monroe: I wanna rip their throats out!
Rosalee: Monroe—
Monroe: They got a problem, they can deal with me. Take me on, but this... cowards. I mean, cowards!
[Nick, Hank, and Juliette come inside]
Nick: We can call this in.
Monroe: What good is that gonna do?
Nick: We can make arrests.
Monroe: That's not gonna stop them.
Hank: Who is them?
Rosalee: Most likely it's the Secundum Naturae Ordinem Wesen. It's a-ancient organization founded during the middle ages to keep Wesen pure.
Monroe: To them, inter-marriage is a crime against man and nature.
Juliette: This is all because you got married?
Rosalee: Yeah.
Nick: And this isn't the first time you've dealt with them?
Rosalee: That cracked window in the spice shop, it was a brick.
Monroe: It had a Wolfsangel on it.
Juliette: You should have told us.
Rosalee: We didn't want to worry you.
Monroe: You got your own problems.
Rosalee: We didn't think it would go this far.
Hank: So the Wolfsangel is their burning cross?
Monroe: Yes. It was originally a wolf trap, or in my ancestors' case, a Blutbaden trap.
Rosalee: Came to symbolize control over all Wesen.
Hank: Is the Wesen Council involved?
Rosalee: Officially, blood purity organizations are outlawed, but there are those on the Council who still believe inter-marriage is a sacrilege.
My Post:
1. Nick wanted to be a Grimm, he liked being a Grimm. He said so. The thing of it is, he was never honest with Juliette about that. Instead he made her believe that he was sincerely interested in not getting his powers back. So, when Rosalee and Monroe needed help, Nick made Juliette believe he only wanted his Grimm back as a way of helping. Helping them, by the way, with a problem they caused for themselves by deciding to get married and intermingle their species.
Your response:
OMG! This storyline represented the struggle and assault on people living in interracial marriage. The story had clear references to KKK. To say Monroe and Rosalee had a “problem they caused for themselves by deciding to get married and intermingle their species” is truly assaulting and horrible. Reading this made my stomach turn.
So your churning stomach and tedious posting were really unnecessary. There is a transcript and episode that support my statement that Nick wanted to be a Grimm again because he liked it. There are transcripts and episodes that also support my statement that while he gloomily confessed this to Monroe, he never spilled the beans to Juliette. Instead he waited and "let" Juliette believe she was making the decision for him to become a Grimm again. The objective of all of this was to help Monroe and Rosalee because of the danger their decision to marry brought to their doorstep. Nick never did ever confess to Juliette that he liked being a Grimm and wanted it all along, and just "let" her believe it was "her" decision.
It's clear from the transcripts and episodes that Monroe and Rosalee were not blissfully unaware of dangers of inter-species marriage, but instead well informed of the potential harm that could befall them because of their decision. Blood pure organizations were outlawed long ago. However, there were still those who supported blood pure species. Even the Wesen Council had members who supported it. Monroe and Rosalee decided to marry, knowing full well that there were dangers in doing so. In regard to your statement that the storyline represented the struggle and assault on people living in interracial marriage, I must disagree. It's not human races here, it's wesen. Also, we're not talking about a lot of inter-species marriages here. We're only talking about Monroe and Rosalee. It would seem most wesen refrain from inter-species marriage.
As for my tirade regarding an apology made by Renard, I'm not sure how that equates to young, impressionable fans coming on to the forum to reveal their love of the series. I merely responded, showing that an apology is really a fruitless endeavor. Most of the characters have major skeletons in the closet so why only force one of them to apologize? Aside from that, the majority of them died at the end and then promptly forgot about their bad deeds anyway.
But really, this is just another 'I hate Renard' statement and so the character should go to ridiculous levels in order to show that 'he really has changed for the good', despite the hauntings he suffered. It's really like your completely opposite, but equally absurd defense of Adalind raping Nick. You go to these extraordinarily strange lengths to excuse her by saying that once again, she's a pawn and has to do what Viktor tells her. You complete ignore what constitutes a defense of rape.
Finally, you so much as admitted all of this nonsense from you is nothing more than an underhanded tactic to inform me in no uncertain terms that I should quit these forums because of all of this so called damage I am inflicting. I'm not quitting the forum, so don't waste your time. I've dealt with narrow minded posters who believe no one should have a dissenting opinion, and everyone should be in the "I agree" clone squad. I guess resorting to childish antics are in order when you don't get your way, as evidenced by the baseless accusations of racism. It doesn't change things, however. I have just as much right here as anyone else and just as much right to my opinion as anyone else.
BTW, there never was a short bit of harmony. Your flip flopping back and forth made certain of that.
The best way to frustrate a cyberbully is to ignore him.
