Actually, she did. Hank was not made into a robot incapable of love. Adalind made a special cookie so his feelings for her would be enhanced.

Renard would have responsibility in that as well because Adalind made the cookies after that meeting in the art gallery with him. He told her to make Hank lust after her after he rejected her advances. Hank only acted on those feelings because he ate the cookies. Wu ate the tainted cookies that Renard told her to make. Any collateral damage also falls on Renard.
I think she was worried that Sean might eat the cookies himself at work and that is why Adalind told Hank not to give the cookies away.
Women characters do not have to be having sex with the lead to be important to the story.
